HeALTH, WELLNESS, AND COMMUNITY CARE
Health & Wellness Guidance
The health and safety of our community is a top priority. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 levels, as well as broader public health guidance. Updated health and wellness guidelines will be shared in advance of the conference to help ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
On-site precautions may include masking or testing, and our conference team will keep you informed of any changes to our health and wellness policies ahead of the event.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people gather. By attending Women Donors Connect, you agree to follow any safety guidelines implemented by the event organizers, including providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination if required. You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and waive any claims against the event organizers and their affiliated entities related to such risks.
Community Care
Our Community Care guidelines below expand on our health and wellness policy and describe how we can support each other throughout the conference.
✅ Before You Travel
While COVID testing is not required to attend our conference, we strongly encourage all participants to take a rapid COVID-19 and Flu A/B test before traveling. This helps protect the health of our community and ensures a smooth conference experience for everyone. If you begin to feel sick at any point during the conference, we will have a limited supply of rapid tests available on-site.
✅ Taking Care of Each Other On-Site
You are welcome to wear a mask at any time throughout the conference. Masks are not required, but they can significantly reduce the spread of respiratory illnesses. We will have a limited number of masks available for anyone who needs one.
If someone asks you to wear a mask while sitting next to them or engaging with them in conversation, we ask everyone to honor that request as an act of community care. Your health and the well-being of our community come first.
Please stay home if you:
Test positive for COVID-19 or the flu
Have symptoms of a respiratory illness
Feel sick or unwell
Have had close contact with someone who is actively sick
✅ If You Begin Feeling Sick On-Site
If you start feeling unwell during our event, please take a rapid COVID-19 or flu test (available at the registration desk in limited supply). If you test positive or feel too sick to participate, we ask that you refrain from attending sessions for the remainder of the conference. We encourage you to monitor your symptoms and seek medical care if needed.
